Course Objectives

To validate that the clinical pharmacist has the advanced knowledge and experience to optimise outcomes for patients with malignant diseases by:

  1. Recommending, designing, compounding, implementing, monitoring, and modifying pharmacotherapeutic plans.
  2. Ensuring medication safety in all vulnerable patients and optimisation of therapies in all cancer patients by bridging the gap between prescribers and pharmacy.
  3. Reducing medication errors.
  4. Recognizing and responding to adverse physical and emotional issues that may arise during treatment and when providing education and counselling.
  5. The course enables the candidate to take up research-related activities, education and training.
  6. Management of oncology emergencies and adverse drug reactions.
  7. In-depth insights into bone marrow transplant procedures and patient care.

Admission to the Fellowship programme will be based on merit.

The selection process will constitute 2 phases:

  1. Written Examination
  2. Viva-Voce

The top candidates will be shortlisted for the fellowship programme.
